‘A Million Little Things’ Season 1-5 Get September UK Premiere Date On UKTV Play
Having been conspicuously absent from UK TV since it was first broadcast on ABC in the USA back in 2018, UKTV Play has stepped up, premiering the entire five-season run of ‘A Million Little Things‘ this September on the streaming service.
They say friendship isn’t one big thing, it’s a million little things and that’s true for a group of friends from Boston who bonded under unexpected circumstances. Some have achieved success, others are struggling in their careers and relationships, but all of them feel stuck in life. After one of them dies unexpectedly, it’s just the wake-up call the others need to finally start living. Along the way, they discover that friends may be the one thing to save them from themselves.
The series stars David Giuntoli (Grimm) as Eddie Saville, Ron Livingston (Boardwalk Empire, Band of Brothers) as Jon Dixon, Romany Malco (The 40-Year Old Virgin) as Rome Howard, Allison Miller (13 Reasons Why) as Maggie Bloom, Christina Moses (The Originals) as Regina Howard, Christina Ochoa (Animal Kingdom) as Ashley Morales, Grace Park (Hawaii Five-0) as Katherine Kim, James Roday (Psych) as Gary Mendez, Stephanie Szostak (Satisfaction, Iron Man 3) as Delilah Dixon, Lizzy Greene (Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn) as Sophie Dixon and Tristan Byon as Theo Saville.
If you’re wondering if the show is likely to be your sort of thing, it is described as an emotionally charged drama, sprinkled with moments of humour and understanding that fans of series such as ‘This Is Us’ and ‘Parenthood’ will identify with. The series originally ran from September 2018 ending in May 2023 on ABC in the USA, but has never aired before in the UK.
