TV Premiere Highlights Coming To Disney+ UK In February 2024

Shogun-nna have a Marvel-ous time on Disney this month...

February is the month of love… so Disney+ is releasing a historical drama set in Feudal Japan, and a kick-ass superhero film (they do also have some new movies which are a bit more romantic too!) We also see the return of Clone Force 99 for one final mission…  Here is what’s coming to Disney+ in February 2024.

Disney+ Originals & UK Exclusive February 2024 Highlights

LOVE & WWE: BIANCA AND MONTEZ – 2nd February 2024 (Reality Series)

“Love & WWE: Bianca & Montez” is a fun, exciting peek into the personal lives of one of WWE’s hottest married couples: Bianca Belair and Montez Ford. The show will look back at Bianca Belair and Montez Ford’s wild Road to WrestleMania, as Montez continued his ascent and Bianca fought to stay on top. With the support of their tight-knit group of friends, family and fellow WWE Superstars, the dynamic duo somehow always manages to pull off the impossible.

THE MARVELS – 7th February 2024 (Film)

Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilised universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan, Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as The Marvels.

SUNCOAST – 9th February 2024 (Film)

Based on the semi-autobiographical story of a teenager (Nico Parker) who, while caring for her brother along with her audacious mother (Laura Linney), strikes up an unlikely friendship with an eccentric activist (Woody Harrelson) who is protesting one of the most landmark medical cases of all time.

LIFE & BETH Season 2 – 9th February 2024 (Series)

As Beth and John’s relationship grows more serious, Beth begins to examine the possibilities of marriage and having a family as she and John seek answers for their communication problems. Is Beth’s traumatic history with men, and people she trusted from her youth destined to repeat itself? And what is triggering her fears? Beth does her best to keep her relationships alive while struggling to support friends and family who are all facing their own problems while entering their fourth decade.

STAR WARS: THE BAD BATCH, Season 3 – 21st February 2024 (Series – Final Season)

In the epic final season, the Batch will have their limits tested in the fight to reunite with Omega as she faces challenges of her own inside a remote Imperial science lab. With the group fractured and facing threats from all directions, they will have to seek out unexpected allies, embark on dangerous missions, and muster everything they have learned to free themselves from the Empire.

FX’S SHOGUN – 27th February 2024 (Series)

An original adaptation of James Clavell’s novel, FX’s Shogun is set in Japan in the year 1600 at the dawn of a century-defining civil war. Lord Yoshii Toranaga is fighting for his life as his enemies on the Council of Regents unite against him, when a mysterious European ship is found marooned in a nearby fishing village.

IWÁJÚ – 28th February 2024 (Series)

Iwájú is an original animated series set in a futuristic Lagos, Nigeria. The exciting coming-of-age story follows Tola, a young girl from the wealthy island, and her best friend, Kole, a self-taught tech expert, as they discover the secrets and dangers hidden in their different worlds. Kugali filmmakers—including director Olufikayo Ziki Adeola, production designer Hamid Ibrahim and cultural consultant Toluwalakin Olowofoyeku—take viewers on a unique journey into the world of Iwájú, bursting with unique visual elements and technological advancements inspired by the spirit of Lagos. Documentary special, Iwájú: A Day Ahead, also streams on 28th Feb.

We Live Here: The Midwest – 28th February 2024 (Documentary)

We Live Here: The Midwest explores timely, personal stories of LGBTQIA+ families who strive to build lives in their communities despite biased legislation and mounting prejudice.

Other Notable Additions

Outside of the various premieres above, several interesting boxsets are coming to Disney+ UK which have previously aired elsewhere. We have all 8 Seasons of the brilliant drama ‘Homeland’ arriving on the 21st of February. There are also a number of romantic movies including the 2014 film ‘Love, Rosie’, and the 2008 movie ‘The Edge of Love’. And for the younger members of your household, there is ‘Spidey And His Amazing Friends’ Season 3 landing on 14th February, with ‘Miraculous World Paris: Tales of Shadybug and Claw Noir’ on 9th February.
