Next we come to what we refer to as “Gray’s Category”, as he is the one person on the Geektown team who watches the most of these shows. It’s the Best Factual/Structured Reality/Entertainment Show… And I think it’s fair to say, Gray was not happy with the result, but this is how you voted…
Best Factual/Structured Reality/Entertainment Show
Nominees:1% Club – ITV, Celebrity Race Across the World – BBC, Clarkson’s Farm, Season 3 – Prime Video, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Season 4 – Sky Max, Late Night Lycett – Channel 4, Race Across the World – BBC, Rob & Rylan’s Grand Tour – BBC, Taskmaster, Season 17 – Channel 4, The Last Leg – Channel 4, The Traitors, Season 2 – BBC, Welcome To Wrexham, Season 3 – Disney+
Bronze: Taskmaster, Season 17 – Channel 4
Silver: 1% Club – ITV
Gold Winner: Clarkson’s Farm, Season 3 – Prime Video
Whilst Gray was upset that his beloved ‘The Traitors’ just got knocked into 4th place, he agreed it ‘Taskmaster’ did deserve bronze. And whilst I don’t think any of us thought ‘1% Club’ would rank quite so high, he also thought it deserved its spot… But then we have the gold… The gold made Gray very annoyed, as you can entertainly hear on the results podcast…
It’s the second win for ‘Clarkson’s Farm‘ in 2024, and the only show to win two Gold awards this year, alongside the ‘British TV Show Of The Year’. It is a massively popular show for Prime Video, and along with returning in 2025 for Season 4, it has also been renewed for Season 5, coming in 2026. In the meantime, you can also check out ‘The World According To Kaleb’ special which is out now on Prime Video.
