Disney has dropped the first teaser and revealed that ‘Solar Opposites’ will return for its sixth and final season this October in the USA, bringing the animated sci-fi comedy to an end with one last chaotic adventure.
In this closing chapter, once their alien diamond-making machine gets destroyed, the Solar Opposites face their greatest challenge yet: living their expensive lives on a budget. With their consumerist habits and costly hobbies stripped away, they are forced to confront their true selves. But will they like what they find? For fans of the show’s most beloved subplot, the epic saga of the people of The Wall, also reaches its thrilling and shocking conclusion.
Returning cast members include Dan Stevens (Legion), Thomas Middleditch (Silicon Valley), Mary Mack (Golan the Insatiable), and Sean Giambrone (The Goldbergs). They are joined this season by an impressive guest line-up featuring Tiffany Haddish (The Afterparty), Kieran Culkin (Succession), Christina Hendricks (Good Girls), Ken Marino (Party Down), Alfred Molina (Spider-Man: No Way Home), Natalie Morales (The Morning Show), Jerry O’Connell (Star Trek: Lower Decks), and Beck Bennett (Saturday Night Live).
The series is executive produced by Mike McMahan, Josh Bycel and Sydney Ryan, and produced by 20th Television Animation. All five previous seasons, along with a Christmas special, two Halloween specials and a Valentine’s Day special, are available to stream now.
‘Solar Opposites’ Season 6 premieres Monday, 13th October 2025, with all 10 episodes on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ in the USA. No UK premiere date has been officially announced yet for Disney+ UK, although previous seasons have launched in line with the US release.
