Vince Gilligan’s ‘Pluribus’ Gets First Look & November Premiere On Apple TV+

by Dave Elliott

Apple TV+ has offered a first glimpse at Pluribus, the much-anticipated new drama from Vince Gilligan, the Emmy Award-winning creator of Breaking Bad and co-creator of Better Call Saul. Led by Rhea Seehorn (Better Call Saul), the nine-episode series will launch globally on the platform this November.

Already picked up for a second season ahead of its debut, ‘Pluribus’ is described as a genre-bending original in which the most miserable person on Earth must save the world from happiness. It promises Gilligan’s trademark mix of darkly compelling storytelling and complex character work, with Seehorn stepping into a leading role after her acclaimed turn as Kim Wexler in Better Call Saul, which earned her two Emmy nominations.

Alongside Seehorn, the main cast features Karolina Wydra (Sneaky Pete) and Carlos Manuel Vesga (The Hijacking of Flight 601), with guest appearances from Miriam Shor (American Fiction) and Samba Schutte (Our Flag Means Death).

Behind the scenes, the series is produced by Sony Pictures Television. Gilligan leads the creative team as executive producer, joined by Gordon Smith (Better Call Saul), Alison Tatlock (Breaking Bad), Diane Mercer, Allyce Ozarski and Jeff Frost, with Jenn Carroll and Trina Siopy serving as co-executive producers.

This marks Gilligan’s first original series since the conclusion of Better Call Saul in 2022, reuniting him with Seehorn for what Apple TV+ describes as a “bold, original vision.”

Pluribus’ premieres with its first two episodes on Friday, 7th November 2025, followed by new episodes every Friday until 26th December 2025, exclusively on Apple TV+.
