ITVX Adds TLC And Quest Shows In Major Comedy And Reality TV Content Deal

by Dave Elliott

ITVX is adding a sizeable helping of panel-show laughs, reality TV and workshop tinkering, thanks to a new content-sharing partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery. More than 2,000 hours of programming from TLC and Quest will arrive on the UK streaming service over the next year, with dedicated collections bringing together shows from both channels.

The rollout begins this October with TLC, including the first series of its ‘Mock the Week‘ revival. Quest will follow later in the year, giving ITVX viewers access to a selection of motoring, antiques and restoration programmes. So, whether your preferred viewing involves comedians picking apart the news or someone rescuing something rusty from a shed, there should be a collection for you.

The important detail is that this is a phased rollout. The full 2,000-plus hours won’t suddenly appear at once, and the agreement doesn’t change where TLC’s newest comedy series get their first airing.

What’s Available In ITVX’s TLC Collection?

The launch selection includes the first series of TLC’s ‘Mock the Week’, hosted by Dara Ó Briain with series regular Rhys James. That gives viewers another way to catch up with the reboot before tackling its newer episodes.

Also available from launch are the first series of ‘Dr. Pimple Popper’ and ‘The Bad Skin Clinic’. Probably worth choosing your snack carefully before settling down with those two.

The reality offering will expand later in the year, with selected seasons from the UK and US editions of the ’90 Day Fiancé’ and ‘Say Yes to the Dress’ franchises joining the collection. The announcement doesn’t specify which seasons will be included, so this is a selection from those franchises rather than a promise of every episode.

More Comedy Is On The Way

Further comedy programmes will join the TLC collection throughout the year and into 2027. Among them is ‘Zero Stars’, which puts a comedy spin on the travelogue format with Sara Pascoe and Roisin Conaty.

There’s also ‘Unacceptable’, TLC’s new comedy panel show hosted by Ed Gamble, with Richard Ayoade and Joanne McNally as team captains. Guests include Maisie Adam, Ivo Graham, Fatiha El-Ghorri and Lucy Beaumont.

Meanwhile, ‘Top Trumps: The Comedy Pack’ will launch on TLC in early 2027, hosted by Katherine Ryan with team captains Joel Dommett and Jon Richardson. It will subsequently join ITVX’s TLC collection later that year.

For anyone wondering whether this means new episodes of ‘Mock the Week’ are moving straight to ITVX, the answer is that TLC keeps the first run. Its second revival series is already underway, while ‘Unacceptable’ arrives in November. Both continue to premiere on TLC at 9pm on Sundays, with catch-up available through discovery+, before joining ITVX’s TLC collection in 2027.

Quest Brings The Workshops And Restoration Projects

The Quest collection will arrive later in the year, featuring titles from the ‘Salvage Hunters’ and ‘Shed & Buried’ franchises, alongside ‘Vinnie Jones in the Country’ and ‘Richard Hammond’s Workshop’.

That broadens the deal beyond comedy and reality franchises, adding programmes built around restoration, collecting, motoring and country life. Individual arrival dates and the precise season selections for the Quest collection haven’t been announced.

Graham Lafferty, SVP Content Strategy & Networks, UK&I, Warner Bros. Discovery, said: “We’re delighted to announce this partnership with ITV today to bring TLC’s new-look content to its broad ITVX audience. The combination of TLC’s local comedy originals and global reality franchises brings something to the platform for every user, whether it’s the return of Mock the Week, brand-new Unacceptable hosted by Ed Gamble, or some of our hugely successful global franchises such as Dr. Pimple Popper. We’re looking forward to expanding the partnership with Quest programming also coming to ITVX later in the year.”

With the comedy arriving alongside established reality favourites, the partnership gives ITVX viewers a broader selection to browse, while offering TLC’s revived and newly commissioned panel shows another audience after their original runs.

The TLC collection launches Today (Thursday, 1st October 2026) on ITVX, with the Quest collection following later in the year.
