Americana is a crime thriller film written and directed by Tony Tost in his film debut. It is a gritty, character-driven ensemble story with a “Tarantino-style” clash of personalities over one high-stakes prize and stars Sydney Sweeney, Paul Walter Hauser, Halsey, Eric Dane, Zahn McClarnon, and Simon Rex.

Set in a small-town American West setting, the film follows a group of outsiders whose lives collide after a rare and valuable Native American artifact ends up on the black market. At the centre are a shy waitress with big dreams and a down-on-his-luck veteran, who team up to try and get hold of the artifact—only to find themselves caught between criminals, collectors, and an Indigenous group all fighting for it.

As more characters enter the chase, the situation escalates into violence, double-crosses, and a chaotic showdown, giving the film a tone that blends modern Western, crime thriller, and dark comedy.
