Detective John Blackmere leaves the rain-soaked Northern city of Bleakford after his partner’s death, determined to track down a ritualistic serial killer. His investigation takes him to London, where the case looks every inch a grim, serious crime thriller. The twist is that this is an absurd comedy from Charlie Brooker. The cast includes Paddy Considine, Georgina Campbell, Lena Headey and Rory Kinnear, although their roles have yet to be announced.
