“Moonlight” aired on CBS last night to less than favourable reviews according to ACIN.

Moonlight (name changed from Twilight) is a show about a vampire detective (stop me if you’ve heard this…) who drives a convertible (you know, this is sounding awfully familiar…) and has the hots for a young blonde girl (really, i’m sure i’ve seen this show somewhere already…)

USA Today said:

“… When it comes to grand-scale theft, it’s hard to be more obvious than CBS’ vampire-detective drama, Moonlight. It’s basically Angel without the search-for-a-soul underpinnings that gave Angel depth, and with a more ponderous script and less adept cast. OK, so maybe it isn’t Angel after all.”

Ouch… Awaiting its arrival in the UK to judge for myself… assuming it gets this far…

Variety is reporting that NBC is doing a new Knight Rider Pilot/TV Movie.

In a blatent attempt to cash in on the sucess of the Transformers movie, K.I.T.T will be able to ‘shape shift’ into other objects… The show will also “explore the idea of “evil” cars to offset the heroic talking K.I.T.T. car”.

I’ll admit, it could be good… It also could be really really really bad…

In some uber-awesome news, LucasArts announced that Star Wars: The Force Unleashed will be coming to the Wii in Spring 2008 *does little happy dance*!

Finally a chance to use the Wiimote for the purpose it was created… a Lightsaber! Seriously over the moon about this, assuming they get the controls working well, it’s gonna be awesome!

LucasArts today revealed that Star Warsâ„¢: The Force Unleashedâ„¢ will come to the Wiiâ„¢ home videogame system from Nintendo next spring, offering owners the unique chance to live out their Jedi fantasies by wielding the Wii Remoteâ„¢ as a lightsaber while using the Nunchukâ„¢ controller to torment foes with their Forceâ„¢ powers.

Had a message off an old Everquest 2 guildie yesterday, to say he’s now in a band, and they’re first album has been released!

“Lolligag was formed in Columbus, Ohio in 2004. Our first album, Lemonade, was just released in the summer of 2007, and we’re currently just looking to play a little music and have a little fun with all our friends, whether we’ve known you for years or are just meeting you for the first time.”

Now, before you go off on one about how BioShock is the best game in the world, and could probably solve world poverty given half a chance, i’m not saying i didn’t like it. I agree with this review. It’s a great game… but it’s by no means faultless (and it definitely is no Deux Ex). It rather annoyed me to get the evil ending even after having saved most of the little sisters. I’d say this review is bang on the money.
