Geektown Radio MCM London Comic Con Special: Manu Bennett & Dark Matter’s Anthony Lemke!
This week we have a special edition of Geektown Radio featuring two interviews from MCM London Comic Con last weekend!
The first interview is with Manu Bennett, star of ‘Arrow’ and ‘The Shannara Chronicles’. The New Zealand actor first came to our attention playing Crixus in Starz epic drama ‘Spartacus’, but has since gone on to play Azog, king of the Orcs, in ‘The Hobbit’ trilogy, the druid Allanon in ‘Shannara’ and has recently returned as Deathstroke in ‘Arrow’. It the interview he talks about his thoughts on the recently announced ‘Deathstroke’ movie, some of his motivations behind his characterisation of Crixus, and making up spells for Allanon with some… interesting… origins!
The second interview on the this week’s show is with Anthony Lemke, star of the sadly cancelled series ‘Dark Matter’. This is Anthony’s first Comic-Con interview since the cancellation, so he gives us his thoughts on what happened, along with the state of the Canadian tv industry in general. He also chats about his role as ‘Three’ on the show and reveals what’s next for him.
