Merry Christmas & Happy New Year To Everyone!

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year To Everyone!

As we head into the Christmas weekend, things are going to be slowing down on the site for the festive period. We will still be updating the UK TV Air Date page as things come in, but the regular posts will be less frequent until the new year.

I wanted to take this opportunity to say a massive THANK YOU to all the visitors to the site this year, and people that contact us on social media. You help make Geektown a fun and happy place to be all year round, and for that, I’m eternally grateful.

I also wanted to say thank you to all the people that have helped on the site and on Geektown Radio this year – Bex, Matt, Ross, Andrew, and Chris – this job would be an awful lot harder without your help, support and friendship.

Whilst the world may have seemingly gone crazy in 2017, inside Geektown it’s been a fun year. We got to meet and chat with amazing people such as ‘Dark Matter’ Co-Creator Joseph Mallozzi, star of the ‘Hitman’ games David Bateson‘Chicago Justice’ & ‘Strike Back’s’ Philip Winchester, ‘Riverdale’s’ KJ Apa, The Arrowverse’s Manu Bennett, Victor Garber & Echo Kellum, plus Eric Christian Olsen & Daniela Ruah from ‘NCIS:LA’!

Thanks to the lovely folk at MCM Comic Con, we met some fabulous guests and saw some incredible cosplayers, so a big thank you to everyone that stopped to let me take photos. And thank you to Channel 4, who gave us the chance to sit and chat with Michael Dinner & and the legend that is Ronald D. Moore to chat about ‘Philip K Dick’s Electric Dreams’, and to visit the set of ‘Humans‘ this year (more to come on that in 2018!)

I also want to give a HUGE shout out to Impact24 who have given us the opportunity to interview so many interesting people in 2017. To all the composers, production designers, costume designers and other ‘behind-the-scenes’ people who have given up their time to chat with us, a massive thank you. To hear any of these interviews, just visit the Geektown Radio section of the site.

Don’t forget, The Geektown Awards will be open until 31st December, so there’s still lots of time to enter and win either the HUGE main prize worth over £750 or the runner-up prize worth over £125! So GO AND VOTE!

Here’s to wishing all of you Geektowners a wonderful Christmas and a very happy 2018! Now to play us out in true geeky style, here are The Avengers singing Christmas Carols…
