Sky 1 Sets February Premiere Date For Jamestown Season 2

Sky 1 will head back to “the colonies” as Jamestown returns for its 2nd Season on Friday, 9th February 2018 at 9pm it has been announced.

We rejoin Alice (Sophie Rundle), Jocelyn (Naomi Battrick) and Verity (Niamh Walsh) as new wives show up, marriages break down, ghostly happenings spook the residents and a threat to Jamestown puts Yeardley (Jason Flemyng) to the ultimate test. The recently arrived Angolan workers will be forced to adapt – fast. Plus, a traitor will threaten the peace and one Jamestown resident will learn what it means to lose everything.

There’s intrigue from the off as a terrible crime throws suspicion on the entire colony. Meanwhile, Jocelyn forges a surprising connection when her position in Jamestown comes under threat. Max Beesley and Stuart Martin also star.

‘Jamestown’ proved a massive hit when it arrived last year with an average audience of 1.6 million viewers across its initial 8 episode run. Created by multi-award-winning production company Carnival Films (‘The Hollow Crown’, ‘Hotel Babylon’, ‘The Last Kingdom’, ‘Whitechapel’)‘Jamestown’ tells the story of the first women to arrive at the new colony.
