‘This Is Us’ Season 2 Gets UK Premiere Date In July On More4
It’s been a bit of a wait this year, but ‘This Is Us‘ Season 2 finally has a UK air date, and a new channel this July.
The brilliant family drama follows the Pearson family across the decades: from Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) and Rebecca (Mandy Moore) as young parents in the 1980s to their 37-year-old kids Kevin (Justin Hartley), Kate (Chrissy Metz) and Randall (Sterling K. Brown) searching for love and fulfillment in the present day.
If you’ve managed to avoid spoilers for season 2 up until now (well done!), we don’t want to give away anything here. If you need a little recap of where we left things, the season finale had Jack and Rebecca get into a huge fight which resulted in Jack packing his bags and moving out. Randall had just told Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson) he wanted to adopt a baby. Kate was considering taking up a career singing, and Kevin had landed a meeting with Ron Howard.
Channel 4 seemed to have been struggling to find someplace to put the series this year, but moving it to More4 seems like a fitting home for this kind of drama. It’s US network, NBC, has already announced Season 3 will arrive over there on September 25, and we’re hoping the switch in channel for the UK might help speed up the arrival of the next season once this one has run.
‘This Is Us‘ Season 2 will come to More4 on Wednesday, 4th July 2018 at 9pm.
