Amazon Releases Trailer & Sets April Premiere Date For ‘Bosch’ Season 6
Amazon has released a trailer and April premiere date for ‘Bosch‘ Season 6, which returns for its penultimate outing.
Based on the best selling novels from Michael Connelly, the detective drama sees Titus Welliver (‘Sons of Anarchy’, ‘Lost’) return as an LAPD homicide detective Bosch, once again digging through the seedy underbelly of Tinseltown. As we head into Season 6, domestic terrorists threaten the fate of Los Angeles, which leaves Harry Bosch to save the city in the highest stakes season to date.
Alongside Welliver, Jamie Hector returns as Jerry Edgar, Amy Aquino as Lt. Grace Billets, Madison Lintz as Maddie Bosch and Lance Reddick as Deputy Chief Irvin Irving. They will be joined by Carter MacIntyre (‘Benched’), Adam J. Harrington (‘Dirty John’), Terrence Terrell (‘Giants’) and Abby Brammell (‘9-1-1’, ‘The Unit’), who all take recurring roles this season.
Back in February, Amazon renewed the drama for a 7th and final season. “I’m proud of what we have accomplished with Bosch and look forward to completing the story in Season 7. It’s bittersweet, but all good things come to an end, and I am happy that we will be able to go out the way we want to,” commented author Michael Connelly. “This started seven years ago with showrunner Eric Overmyer and me writing the pilot. We plan to write the last episode together as well. We’ll leave behind the longest-running show so far on Amazon and it will be there to be discovered by new viewers for as long as people are streaming. That is amazing to me. The other thing is that we would not have come all this way without Titus Welliver. There could not have been a better actor to play this role or a better team player to build this show around. He’ll be Harry Bosch for the ages.”
The show was developed by Eric Overmyer (‘The Wire’, ‘The Man in the High Castle’) who returns as co-showrunner with Daniel Pyne (‘Alcatraz’). The series is produced by Amazon Studios and Fabrik Entertainment.
‘Bosch‘ Season 6 premieres Friday, 17th April 2020 on Amazon Prime UK and worldwide.
