Geektown Radio 255: ‘Metal Slug X’, ‘Birds Of Prey’ Reviews, All The US TV Pilots, Renewals & Cancellations, Plus UK TV Air Dates!

On the latest episode of the Geektown Radio podcast, I’m joined by Bex from TristaBytes in the co-host chair to chat about our week in tv, film and gaming, plus we have all the weekly tv news, renewals and cancellations.

Reviewing the last 7 days in tv, film and gaming, in between bouts of knocking herself out, Bex has been scaring herself with more ‘Alien Isolation’, along with playing classic Neo Geo game ‘Metal Slug X’. I have been playing realtime strategy city builder ‘Anno 1800’, which is rather more frantic than you’d think, and watching ‘Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)’, so we both give you our thoughts on that.

In the TV news, we’re all about the renewals, cancellations and new US pilots, as the “big five” US networks finally all announced which shows had hit the trash heap, and which would be returning for the new year. We also run through all the shows which have been picked up to series so far this season, along with the pilots that are still in contention at the main US networks.

On This Weeks Show:

  • I’m joined by Bex to review the movies, tv-series, and games we’ve been watching and playing over the past week.
  • We take a look at all the latest tv & film news, including all the renewals & cancellations.
  • We give you our recommendations for the upcoming TV in the next few weeks.
