‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’: Season 4 Gets Trailer & Feb 2022 Premiere Date

by Dave Elliott

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel finally returns for a 4th Season in February, and Amazon has released the first teaser of what is to come for the groundbreaking stand up comic.

The series stars Rachel Brosnahan as Miriam ‘Midge’ Maisel, a 1958 New York City woman, who discovers she has a talent for stand-up comedy. In Season 1 we saw her finding her feet on stage. Season 2 saw her climb up the comedy ladder, but the grind of being a comic began to take its toll, as she has to come clean to her family.

If you remember where we left things, Midge had landed a tour with star famous Shy Baldwin (Leroy McClain). Whilst things started off well, her decision to make a few jokes at Shy’s expense did not go down well with the singer’s no-nonsense manager Reggie (Sterling K. Brown), and he boots her from the tour…

As we head into Season 4, it’s 1960 and change is in the air. Looking to hone her act, Midge finds a gig with total creative freedom. But her commitment to her craft – and the places it takes her – creates a rift between her and the family and friends around her.

The edgy, uncompromising, and hilarious new season includes guest appearances from Kelly Bishop, Milo Ventimiglia, John Waters and Jason Alexander.

‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’, from renowned creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and executive producer Daniel Palladino (‘Gilmore Girls’), is written and directed by Sherman-Palladino and Palladino, and stars Emmy-winner Rachel Brosnahan, four-time Emmy-winner Tony Shalhoub, two-time Emmy-winner Alex Borstein, Emmy-nominee Marin Hinkle, Michael Zegen, Kevin Pollak, Caroline Aaron and Emmy-winner Luke Kirby.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel‘ Season 4 premieres Friday, 18th February 2022 on Amazon Prime Video UK and worldwide.
