‘The Goldbergs’ The End With Season 10

After 10 seasons, The Goldbergs is coming to an end announced US broadcaster ABC.

“After 10 seasons of huggies and snuggies #TheGoldbergs is saying goodbye. It’s been an incredible journey, filled with laughter, tears, and some seriously epic ‘80s style. Join us in celebrating the final episodes,” said the broadcaster on social media.

‘The Goldbergs’ follows the titular family’s escapades in 1980s Pennsylvania. Narrator Adam (Sean Giambrone, with his future self voiced by Patton Oswald) just wants to grow up as a normal, nerdy teenager – and possibly become the world’s greatest filmmaker. The Jenkintown family continues to navigate the 80s, filled with hi-jinks, heart and hilarity. As life unfolds with new challenges, the Goldbergs continue to remind us that there is no bond greater than family and there is nothing they can’t handle with the support of one another.

The series stars Sean Giambrone as Adam Goldberg, Hayley Orrantia as Erica Goldberg, Troy Gentile as Barry Goldberg, Wendi McLendon-Covey as Beverly Goldberg, and Sam Lerner as Geoff Schwartz, with Patton Oswalt as the voice of the adult Adam.

News of ‘The Goldbergs’ coming to an end isn’t a huge surprise. After ten seasons with most of the original cast still on the payroll, it’s expensive to make, whilst its ratings have been declining. It has performed reliably for ABC, at some point, those numbers were not going to balance out. As the longest-running live-action network comedy currently on air in the USA, thankfully, ABC opted to give the series a proper conclusion with a 10th Season, rather than just cancel it.

“We are so proud of the 10 years we were able to spend with The Goldbergs,” commented Craig Erwich, president, ABC Entertainment, Hulu and Disney Branded Television Streaming Originals. “This is an incredible team and we’re so thankful for the joy and entertainment they brought to so many over this time. We look forward to celebrating their final chapter along with the fans in the weeks ahead.”

As the comedy returns for season ten, with everyone living back under the same roof and Beverly (McLendon-Covey) adjusting to her new role as Grandsmotherer, the Goldbergs pandemonium is crazier than ever.

The Goldbergs’ Season 10 is currently airing on ABC in the USA, with the finale due in May 2023. The comedy airs on E4 in the UK, and (due to E4’s patented “drunk scheduling” policy), it’s hard to say exactly when it will premiere here… However, if you want to keep track of this or any other show, you can add them via our Never Miss system, and you’ll be notified when it gets a UK premiere date.
