LIONSGATE+ has released the Season 2 trailer for the adventure-filled travel docuseries, Men in Kilts: A Roadtrip with Sam and Graham, which premieres this August on the streaming service. This time, the iconic ‘Outlander’ duo of Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish are venturing out of Scotland to explore the beautiful lands of New Zealand… “Same Kilts, New Zealand…”

In this new season consisting of four 30-minute episodes, viewers will travel alongside Sam and Graham as they experience a taste of what New Zealand has to offer with their trademark banter. Season two promises to be full of shenanigans and adrenaline as they come face to face with apex predators, fall 300 meters in a swing, discover the vast history and culture of the M?ori, and eat their way through the islands of New Zealand.

If you’re wondering “why New Zealand?” (not that you really need a reason to visit such a beautiful place), it is due to the fact that Graham McTavish now lives out there. He moved to the country whilst filming ‘The Hobbit’, and then decided to stay! And though it seems far from Scotland, about 20% of the population have Scottish roots.

The series is produced by Boardwalk Pictures, in association with Sony Pictures Television. Heughan and McTavish conceived the original idea (of getting someone to pay them to go on holiday together…) and serve as executive producers alongside Alexander Norouzi, Andrew Fried, Dane Lillegard, Sarina Roma and Kevin Johnston who also serves as director.

Men in Kilts: A Roadtrip with Sam and Graham‘ premieres on Friday, 11 August 2023 on the LIONSGATE+ streaming platform in the UK, and on STARZ in the USA. Season 1 of ‘Men in Kilts’ is available to stream now exclusively on LIONSGATE+.
