‘Colin From Accounts’ Renewed For Season 2
The critically acclaimed Australian romantic comedy ‘Colin from Accounts‘, which airs on the BBC in the UK, has been renewed for Season 2 it has been announced.
Created, written by and starring Patrick Brammall (‘Offspring’, ‘Glitch’) and Harriet Dyer (‘The Invisible Man’, ‘No Activity’), the eight-part series centres on Ashley and Gordon; two single(ish), complex humans who are brought together by a car accident and an injured dog. ‘Colin From Accounts’ is about flawed, funny people choosing each other and being brave enough to show their true self, scars and all, as they navigate life together.
The series was renewed by the Australian streaming service Binge, part of the Foxtel Group, and has been racking up acclaim and awards in its first season. The BINGE original series is Foxtel Group’s most-watched original scripted series of all time, and picked up “Most Outstanding Comedy Program” at the 2023 TV Week Logie Awards (the Australian “Emmys”), with Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer, also both winning “Most Outstanding Actor and Actress” respectively. The series premiered in December 2022 in Australia and was picked up by the BBC airing in April 2023 in the UK.

Season 2 of ‘Colin from Accounts’ will be produced by Easy Tiger Productions (Jack Irish, Rake, The Twelve). Patrick and Harriet will return to write, star and Executive Produce Season 2. The series is distributed outside Australia and New Zealand by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
