Good news, everyone! The Planet Express crew is back once again as ‘Futurama‘ gears up for its highly anticipated Season 13, premiering this September. After a successful revival run in 2023, the beloved animated sci-fi comedy returns with new episodes and even more absurd adventures.
Hulu has confirmed that all ten episodes of Season 13 will drop at once on Sunday, 15th September 2025 at 5:00 PM PT/8:00 PM ET. UK fans won’t be left out either, as the full season is expected to premiere on Disney+ in the UK on the same day.
Alongside the date reveal, Hulu has also released a batch of seven first-look images teasing what’s to come… and if the photos are anything to go by, it’s going to be another season of chaotic brilliance. Whether it’s volcanoes erupting, heavenly Zoidbergs, or romantic rivalries, it’s clear that Bender, Fry, Leela and the gang are returning in top form.
Season 13 will also air two episodes weekly on FXX in the US starting the same evening. This release strategy differs from the previous Hulu seasons, which followed a weekly rollout pattern.
What’s In Store This Season?
The official synopsis promises pure mayhem:
“Bender is rampaging out of control! A volcano is about to explode! Fry confronts a rival for Leela’s love! And Dr. Zoidberg is rising up to heaven?! The excitement might be too much! You’ve been warned… it’s an all-new season of FUTURAMA!”
Who’s Back?
The main voice cast returns, including:
John DiMaggio (Disenchantment), Billy West (Doug), Katey Sagal (The Conners), Tress MacNeille (The Simpsons), Maurice LaMarche (Pinky and the Brain), Lauren Tom (Friends), Phil LaMarr (Justice League) and David Herman (Office Space).
‘Futurama’ was created by Matt Groening and developed with David X. Cohen. Executive producers include Groening, Cohen, Ken Keeler and Claudia Katz.
A Legacy of Resurrection
Originally launched in 1999, ‘Futurama’ has had one of the most storied journeys in animation. After bouncing between Fox, direct-to-DVD films, Comedy Central, and eventually Hulu, the series has maintained a dedicated fan base and critical acclaim — including two Primetime Emmy wins. It’s smart, satirical take on life in the year 3000 continues to strike a chord with audiences, old and new.
