Paramount+ Drops Trailer for ‘Landman’ Season 2, Starring Billy Bob Thornton and Demi Moore

by Dave Elliott

Paramount+ has unveiled the official trailer for the second season of Landman, the gritty drama from Oscar nominee Taylor Sheridan, arriving this November on the streaming service.

The series stars Billy Bob Thornton (Fargo), Demi Moore (Indecent Proposal), Andy Garcia (The Godfather Part III), Sam Elliott (1883), and Ali Larter (Heroes), alongside Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Paulina Chávez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie, James Jordan and Colm Feore.

Set in the boomtowns of West Texas, ‘Landman’ is billed as a modern tale of fortune-seeking among roughnecks and wildcat billionaires. The oil boom here is not just a local story. It is one so big it ripples through climate, the global economy, and geopolitics.

Season two promises even more tension as secrets begin to bubble to the surface along with the oil. Thornton’s Tommy Norris finds his breaking point inching closer, squeezed between corporate pressure from M-Tex Oil, Demi Moore’s Cami Miller, and his own family’s shadowy influence. Out in West Texas, survival is not noble, it is brutal. The new season suggests that sooner or later something has to give.

Behind the camera, the show is co-created by Sheridan and Christian Wallace, with Sheridan also serving as executive producer alongside a roster including David C. Glasser, David Hutkin, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, Christian Wallace, Billy Bob Thornton, Geyer Kosinski, Michael Friedman, Stephen Kay, Dan Friedkin, Jason Hoch, J.K. Nickell and Megan Creydt. Production comes via Paramount Television Studios, 101 Studios and Sheridan’s Bosque Ranch Productions, with Paramount Global Content Distribution handling worldwide sales.

Landman’ Season 2 premieres Sunday, 16th November 2025 on Paramount+.
