Krysten Ritter (Marvel’s Jessica Jones, Breaking Bad) is making a return trip to the blood-splattered world of ‘Dexter: Resurrection’, with Paramount+ announcing she will guest star in the upcoming second season.
Ritter appeared in season one as Mia, aka Lady Vengeance, a rather memorable serial killer by night and sommelier by day. The fan-favourite character seemingly met her end while in prison, but this is ‘Dexter’, so a death does not necessarily mean we have seen the last of someone, especially when Dexter Morgan’s head has never been the quietest place to live…
The series stars Michael C. Hall (Dexter, Six Feet Under) as Dexter Morgan, continuing the story of everyone’s favourite deeply problematic blood spatter analyst turned vigilante serial killer.
Ritter joins a season two cast that already includes Brian Cox (Succession) as The New York Ripper, Uma Thurman (Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill) reprising her role as Charley, Dan Stevens (Downton Abbey, Legion) as The Five Borough Killer, Bokeem Woodbine (Fargo) as Capt. Mixon, and Nona Parker Johnson (Law & Order: Organized Crime) as Fiona Mixon.
From Emmy-nominated showrunner and executive producer Clyde Phillips, ‘Dexter: Resurrection’ comes from Paramount Television Studios and Counterpart Studios. The series is executive produced by Clyde Phillips, who also serves as showrunner, Michael C. Hall, Scott Reynolds, Marcos Siega, Tony Hernandez, and Lilly Burns. Additional executive producers include John Goldwyn and Sara Colleton, along with Veronica West, Kirsa Rein, and Tanner Bean & Katrina Mathewson.
Season one of ‘Dexter: Resurrection’ is available to binge on Paramount+ only with the Paramount+ Premium Plan.
‘Dexter: Resurrection’ Season 2 does not yet have a premiere date on Paramount+. If I want to keep track of this or any other shows, I can add them via our Never Miss system, and I’ll be notified when it gets a UK premiere date. Visit Never Miss.
