Missed Oasis on the big screen? You’ll soon be able to bring the reunion home, along with footage that wasn’t in the cinema release. ‘Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger’ arrives on Disney+ in the UK and Ireland this October, with extra material featuring Liam and Noel Gallagher.
The additions include previously unseen footage from the brothers’ joint interview, plus full performances of “Wonderwall” and “Slide Away”. “D’You Know What I Mean?” and “Half the World Away” will also feature for the first time. Disney+ hasn’t specified how much of those latter two songs will be included, but there should be plenty for fans who came away from the film wanting another encore.
Written and created by Steven Knight and directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, ‘Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger’ follows the band’s reunion and Oasis Live ’25 tour. It goes beyond the stage, with access to rehearsals and backstage moments, as well as the first joint interviews with Noel and Liam in more than 20 years. The film also spends time with the fans, exploring why the songs and the prospect of seeing the brothers together again meant so much to them.
The documentary has already had a successful cinema run. According to Disney, it became the highest-grossing documentary feature film of the year at the UK and Ireland box office. With the tour sold out, its streaming arrival gives anyone who couldn’t get a ticket another chance to join in, even if the view from the sofa comes with fewer airborne pints.
