Season 12b looks like 14th February at 8:30 based on the schedules. E4 are rerunning the Season 12 eps up to where they finished at Christmas, which was ep10 (“The VCR Illumination”). They’re showing 2 eps every Thursday, with ep10 airing Thursday 14th at 8pm. As with the season premiere, the next new episode (ep11 “The Paintball Scattering”) will likely air after this at 8:30pm.
Looks like Season 12 will be premiering on October 18th in the UK.
No official confirmation from E4 yet, but they’re showing a repeat run of Season 11 at the moment, with two episodes every Thursday. Episodes 22 and 23 air on October 11th (confirmed) meaning the finale will air on October 18th and it would make sense to follow this with Season 12 premiere episode. They did the same thing when Season 11 started, they showed a repeat run of Season 10 which ended the same day Season 11 started.
Yeah, that looks about right. It does look like it’s going to be early to mid Oct, but we’ll update when we get the official word from E4. :)
Schedules have been released for 18th October now. Season 11 finale is airing that day at 8:00pm, followed by a “to be confirmed” slot at 8:30pm. Seems more than likely this will be Season 12 premiere… Let’s hope so!

Do we know for sure whether or not season 9 will be broadcast in UK? I hope it will, but I can’t find anything anywhere about a start date, it’s already started in USA, and we normally get it about a month (maybe 6 weeks) later.

Okay, it’s due to CBS altering the US schedule after the death of carol Ann Susi who played Howard’s mother. They wanted to honour her in the show, which meant rewriting and moving some of the episodes back. Obviously that was unexpected, so E4 had to stop airing whilst the US sorted it’s run out.

why has season 8 suddenly stopped after 8 episodes, with no announcement at all? Anyone know when the series will continue, or will it be another couple of months of endless repeats until we suddenly get thrown a few more new episodes??

Season 10 is likely to begin in the US in Autumn 2016. It’s too early to tell when it might air here. We might have a better idea once seasons 8 and 9 have been and gone

It started as above. Episode 8 aired at that time, with episode 9 a week after. It has gone on another break and will return in April with episode 10, but a date hasn’t been set
Part 2 of season 7 started back on E4 in the uk but it hasn’t gone further than episode 8. It’s now showing season 7 from the beginning again? Do you know why?
Season 7 has had 9 episodes so far, with episode 10 due soon. Seasons 5,6 and 7 are all currently being repeated. The reason for the additional break is probably related to the additional February break in the US broadcast
April? It would be good if the E4 schedulers confirmed this second break and published a return date above. I would also enjoy an explanation for the break as episode 10 has been shown in the USA.
The schedulers don’t follow what other countries do, except for the fact that with US shows, international markets almost always have to broadcast later

Does anyone know what is wrong with E4 – ie why can’t they make up their minds about scheduling TBBT?? It drives me crazy that they put on 2 episodes of season 7 on the 16th and 23rd January and now it’s gone again with no mention of return. How can they do this with one of their highest rated shows?!?! Maddening.

After just two episodes back BBT is now on a mid-mid season break until April!
Jan 9th episodes have all ready been shown on e4 (rpts), the remaining unseen episodes of Season 7 will return 16th Jan.
The Big Bang is due back on 9th January been advertised on E4
Just watching season 4 again on dvd at the moment, can not wait for S7, for me its better than friends.
