EA Versus Fox News – The Mass(ively) Inaccurate Effect
![]()
EA have laid into Fox New’s ‘reporting’ on Mass Effect, claiming it shows “full digital nudity and the ability for players to engage in graphic sex.” (if it does, i missed a section of that game!). Also that it “is being marketed to kids and teenagers.” (it’s an M rating in the US meaning over 17yrs old).
Inaccurate reporting from Fox News? Why, that’s so unlike them…

EA’s Response to the report here.
Edit: The story is on digg, and i just wanted to add in WasabiBomb’s quality Comment from the digg thread:
“EA versus Fox? It’s like watching the Borg Collective go up against the Death Star- you don’t know who to cheer for, but you know it’s gonna be a lot of pretty explosions.”
Heath Ledger (1979 – 2008)

Well, unless you’ve been living on Mars, you’ll have seen the news stories about the sad death of Heath Ledger 2 days ago. I waited a bit to make this post, as I really wasn’t sure what to put. Really I just wanted to add our condolences to the many others out there, and to say what a tragic loss to the acting world, paticularly at such a young age. Our deepest sympathies to his family and his daughter.
Rest in Peace.

This is utter genius! (there are some ‘naughty words’ in this, so don’t play it if easily offended.)

A new teaser trailer for J.J. Abrams kick start to the Star Trek Franchise. Looking pretty awesome to me.

I Met Chris Barrie!
We had a corporate event at work today, and none other than Red Dwarf star Chris Barrie had been asked to speak… As you can probably tell by the way i’m in jeans and a tshirt (everyone was in suits), i wasn’t really expecting to blag my way into the event. However, my lovely boss was kind enough to let me crash the party and hear him do the after dinner talk (plus a bunch of impressions), the q&a, and get a photo… I had to bring Mr. Flibble along of course!
Chris was very funny, with stories about life on Red Dwarf, The Brittas Empire, and working with Angelina Jolie on Tomb Raider. Had a chat with him afterwards, and he is a thoroughly nice guy (with a slightly dubious choice in ties!).
