It’s no great shock, but it’s at last official! As predicted pretty much straight after P2 went to the great development house in the sky, Cryptic Studios has officially announced (to the surprise of no one), they are the new developers of Star Trek Online.
Its powered by the Cryptic Engine, and is being developed for PC and consoles, and will allow you to ‘Explore strange new worlds, seek out new life and new civilizations in an expanding vast universe’…

Well this came out of left field! As we reported a couple of weeks ago, Colm Meany was rumoured to be out of the US remake of Life on Mars. Now EW.com is reporting that they have a replacement…
Harvey Keitel has signed on to play Gene Hunt!

I meant to post about this over the weekend, as it was online online offically for a limited time, but all 3 acts of Joss Whedon’s ‘Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along-Blog‘ went live last week.
‘Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along-Blog’ was penned during the WGA strike by Joss, his brothers Jed and Zack, and Jed’s fiancée Maurissa Tancharoen. It’s 40mins of singing goofyness, following the tale of Dr. Horrible, his arch nemesis Captain Hammer, and Penny the object of Horrible’s affection.
