I remember the same happening with Fire Country that premiered on Universal TV in Germany in September 2023 and didn’t premiere in the UK until January 2024, yes it really did take 15 months.
This really frustrates me, it never use to take this long for us to get new shows, so why now?

I remember hearing about this new US show and I wondered if we’d ever see it. It finally turned up after all three seasons had been shown in the US. It was called Star Trek.
Granted that was the case before internet and Disney etc launching their services. However what Sky do to any network show is treat it as the unwanted child.
They have less content coming in and still making a royal mess of what they do have/get. Just take a look at the Chicagos this year, truly idiotic scheduling.
It makes you think what the point is with brining in shows from CBS and NBC if they aren’t going to keep it consistent or at least have the backlog of shows. Think Law & Order.

Granted it’s on U but season 5 of SEAL Team just got added to Paramount+ today. Can only be a good sign of more being added like season 7 NCIS New Orleans, season 13 of NCIS LA and season 12 Blue Bloods.
I just found an new free app called ElectricNow for my Firestick. There is also an app for Android TV, Apple TV, Roku, iOS/iPadOS, and there is a website. You need a VPN to be in the US. You can watch The Librarians@ The Second Chapter and I think you’ll be able to also watch the 2nd season that starts in August. You’ll also be able to watch the Ark season 3 which airs July 29.
The Ark season 1 has reappeared on Sky Sci-Fi , did previously expire around March , so looks like a new licencing agreement.
Imagine makes it more likely either Sky Sci-Fi or Sky One will air season 3,

When is the Chicagos Part 2 seasons aka the remaining episodes left coming? It’s taking ages, Sky had plenty of chances to air it
It’s anyone’s guess at this point. They should just cut there losses and put the whole boxset on Now/Sky. At this rate it’ll be on Prime Video.
At this rate, Sky will be airing the 2025-2026 seasons of the Chicagos while the US will be airing the 2026-2027 seasons.
It’s in August often incomplete monthly “highlights” , so guess 14th August
Will the new upcoming FOX series “Baywatch” land on Sky Witness in 2027?
Witness is a plausible and perhaps slightly more likely home, because the official marketing repeatedly stresses “high-stakes drama”, life-saving rescues, and action-packed storytelling. Those themes align closely with the channel’s current identity. However, until Sky announces the channel, it’s still speculation, and it could equally end up on Sky One depending on how Sky wants to position the series.
the synopsis itself contains a lot of the ingredients that define Sky Witness has professionals responding to emergencies, episodic incidents, life-or-death stakes, teamwork, and ongoing character development. That makes Witness a credible destination if Sky chooses to position Baywatch primarily as an emergency-services procedural rather than a beach drama.
Now obviously the channel has not been determined yet,

In all likelihood you won’t know until December at the earliest (that’s assuming it’s even aired in January and not February)

Still not sure why Sky can’t have all episodes of Law and Order: SVU S1-26, and the Chicagos series, only Criminal Intent has all episodes. Is it some sort of rights battle or something?
At a guess Sky being cheap. Considering their “handling” of the current Chicago seasons makes you think they don’t want to spend too much to fill the gap from HBO content.
We can only hope the spin off with NBC and Sky being under one proper roof the crossover with content will kick in. Though I’m not expecting anything to improve anytime soon.

Yeah I know and that completely defeats the purpose of Paramount existing if their content is so fragmented. I pay for Paramount+ and stupidly I expect them to retain some CBS studios content.
Get a VPN and you can connect to Paramount+ in Canada and watch CBS shows.
Indeed, in the past we did. Though over the last year we’ve not used it that much for that purpose.
It’s more the principle, though Paramount seem to only have true focus for the service in US, Australia and Canada. Dire I say even an increase in South America.
I do watch Paramount+ in the UK. There are some shows I watch as well as some movies. But I also watch Paramount+in CA/AU (mostly CA) as I get to watch the CBS shows Sky don’t yet have or we don’t know when.
Yeah I get what you mean. Shows like CSI New York, Miami, Vegas and Cyber are nowhere to be found in the UK (albeit season 3 of Vegas is on Alibi for a brief period), but they have the original CSI which does well on it. Makes you wonder why the delay on getting at least the finished CBS shows onto Paramount.
Though Boston Blue and Sheriff Country are glaring omissions from Sky and or Paramount+. Which frankly doesn’t surprise me as they are both terrible at putting content on for us to watch hassle free.

No return date , isn’t the next 2 Sundays.
In the US on UPtv, the remaining 6 either start showing or are dropped once a week on August 6, 2026. Supposedly Hudson & Rex will air in the UK soon after.
That is only it just premiering in the US from episode 1
It’s all already aired in Canada on Citytv and Is a Canadian show, Alibi has previously aired before the U.S.

Whitable Pearl has been Axed by Acorn TV after 3 Seasons.

Why is it that all the best shows have been axed? There are so many crap shows on TV these days; it seems like the best ones are being pushed out to be aired. Not a happy person. 😡😡😡😡
One of the problems with Whitstable Pearl is that it’s broadcast in SD. A lot of people do not record, stream, or use On Demand all that much or at all. So if all I had was an SD feed for it, I’d not watch it at all. So I can see a lot of people not watching due to SD.
As to cancelling good shows, that’s happening too much these days and the crap is still running like Traitors, Love Island, Songs of Praise, The Only Way is Essex, Love is Blind, Too Hod to Handle, Selling Sunset and more rubbish. The problem as I see it is these shows are fairly cheap to make vs the scripted dramas.
I don’t think that was the reason it was cancelled , i assume it was in HD on Acorn TV the ones who cancelled it and where it premiered
Drama channel does have a HD channel just not on Sky.
In the UK, most people only get U&Drama broadcast in SD. It’s SD on Sky, Freevew, and Freesat. It’s on broadcast in HD on Virgin.
In the digitalspy article the reason it was cancelled because Acorn TV Wanted to focus on other Dramas on Their App. Was not because of Picture Quality as you were suggesting.

I was told when asked by Sky Viewer Relations Elsbeth season 3 , it will be coming to Sky Witness but they don’t have a date yet and when a premiere date is confirmed, you will see plenty of advertising for season 3 across the Sky platform.

Although they are no longer officially related from 1st June, season 3 is only just airing on Sky Deutschland from 8th August on Sky One (2 months later than season 2)

You do wonder how a smaller Pay TV market like Germany airs it sooner, season 1 finishes airing on 5th August on Sky One although Matlock season 2 aired much later there only premiering at end of May on Universal TV and season 2 of Watson only just premiering on 2nd July on Sky One

There’s definitely something happening with NBC/Comcast. Why make a show if you’re not even going to push for it to be a success. Same old story. Just carry on renewing one Chicagos. There already on the decline as well.
NBC probably spent too much on sports rights as of late and Comcast as parent company building universal studios park in UK and letting there UK sky company buying itv so probably no money left to make new stuff

According to this Virgin link The Terror (AMC Studios) is added to Sky One on 20th July which presumably includes the Devil in Silver considering the timing of this.
