Person Of Interest, aka ‘Batman in a suit’, returns for it’s 5th and final season in the UK, but it’s jumping from Channel 5 to 5USA, and will air from the 22nd February 2017 at 9pm.

Jonathan Nolan’s scifi-esque crime drama has got a shortened run of 13 episodes for this last outing, which sees Reese (Jim Caviezel) & Finch (Michael Emerson) attempt to rescue the Machine’s source code before it deteriorates beyond repair.

Root (Amy Acker) also returns, and is fighting for her life against an onslaught of Samaritan’s agents, whilst Fusco (Kevin Chapman) is faced with hard questions following the deaths of Dominic and Elias…

Commenting on the final season, Nolan and exec producer Greg Plageman released a statement saying “We’re eternally grateful to our amazing cast and crew, as well as our partners at the studio and network. Most of all, we want to thank the show’s fans — the best fans in the world. This subversive little paranoia-inducing cyberpunk-thriller is for you and would not have been possible without your support. As life has come to imitate Person of Interest, it’s been our great privilege to work on the show for the past five seasons. We can’t wait for you to experience this thrilling and final chapter.”

We’ve been huge fans of Person Of Interest here at Geektown, so we’re sad to see it go, but we’re glad they got to round things off at the end. You can watch the final series when it returns to the UK on 5USA from the 22nd February 2017 at 9pm.
