Netflix Release Trailers For ‘Black Mirror’ Season 4 Episodes ‘Arkangel’ & ‘Crocodile’

Netflix has released 2 new trailers for the upcoming episodes of the 4th Season of Charlie Brooker’s brilliant, mind-bending anthology series Black Mirror.

Episode 1 is titled ‘Arkangel’ and stars La La Land’s Rosemarie DeWitt, Brenna Harding (‘Puberty Blues’, ‘The Code’), Michael Harney (‘Orange Is the New Black’), and Owen Teague (‘Bloodline’). Directed by Hollywood A-lister Jodie Foster, and the trailer shows a mother frantically searching for her missing daughter. Although her child turns up, it panics the mother enough to take the daughter to a medical facility to be injected with some sort of, *ahem* “completely safe” device, which, presumably, will help her keep tabs on the kids’ whereabouts… I’m sure that’ll all turn out fine…

The 2nd trailer is for an episode titled ‘Crocodile’. This one stars Andrea Riseborough (‘National Treasure’, ‘Bloodline’), Andrew Gower (‘Outlander’), and Kiran Sonia Sawar (‘Legends’, ‘The Boy with the Topknot’), and is directed by The Road’s John Hillcoat. Set in a near-future Iceland, it’s a time when memories are no longer entirely private and can be mined for information. However, unlike recordings, memories are not always entirely accurate. I’m sure that won’t cause any issues which end the episode in some dark and disturbing place…

Netflix still hasn’t released an air date for Black Mirror‘ Season 4, however, it wasn’t on their list of upcoming shows for December, but the trailer releases would indicate it’s coming soon, so we’re expecting it to show up in Early 2018.
