Netflix Renews Fantasy Horror ‘The Order’ For Season 2

Netflix has handed out a Season 2 renewal for fantasy-horror series The Order the streaming service has announced.

‘The Order’ follows college freshman Jack Morton (Jake Manley – ‘iZombie’, ‘Heroes: Reborn’) who joins a fabled secret society, The Order, where he is thrust into a world of magic, monsters and intrigue. As Jack goes deeper, he uncovers dark family secrets and an underground battle between werewolves and the magical dark arts. The series is described as “a magical and terrifying journey to uncover our true selves… and the monsters that hide within.”

Manley is joined by Sarah Grey (‘Legends of Tomorrow’s Stargirl), who plays Alyssa, a pretty and smart overachiever with a double major in poli-sci who is a member of The Order and is attracted to Jack. Matt Frewer (‘Altered Carbon’, ‘Watchmen’, ‘Orphan Black’), Sam Trammell (‘True Blood’), and Max Martini (‘Training Day’, ‘Revenge’) also star.

‘The Order’ is written and created by Dennis Heaton (‘Motive’, ‘Ghost Wars’) alongside Shelley Eriksen (‘Private Eyes’, ‘Continuum’), with Heaton, Eriksen, Chad Oakes, Mike Frislev and David Von Ancken serving as exec producers. The series is produced for Netflix by Nomadic Pictures (‘Van Helsing’, ‘Ghost Wars’).

The Order‘ Season 1 can be streamed on Netflix UK and worldwide right now. Season 2 will arrive in 2020.
