Netflix Releases Full Trailer For ‘Lucifer’ Season 4, Premiering in May.

by Dave Elliott

Lucifer‘ Season 4, returns to Netflix on Wednesday, 8th May 2019, and the new trailer shows that the devil’s old girlfriend is back in town!

WARNING, *SPOILERS AHEAD* if you haven’t finished Season 3…

If you remember the climatic events of the last season, Lucifer (Tom Ellis) had just rescued Chloe (Lauren German) and killed Pierce, aka Cain (Tom Welling), with one of Maze’s (Lesley-Ann Brandt) daggers for murdering Charlotte (Tricia Helfer). Pierce, believing he will finally go to Heaven, says he has “no regrets”, but it horrified when Luci reveals he will be going to Hell to be haunted by Charlotte’s murder for all eternity. This act of anger causes Luci’s long-lost devil face to return… Only to be seen for the first time by Chloe, who is standing behind him.

In Season 4, reeling from the aftermath of Chloe seeing his devil face, Lucifer faces a new challenge: Eve (Inbar Lavi – ‘The Last Ship’), the original sinner herself, is back. Whilst the trailer sees her having a fun time with Lucifer (much to the annoyance of Chloe), her exact motives are less clear. Does she want revenge for when he tempted her out of Eden oh so many years ago… or something else entirely?

Season 4 also sees the return of Aimee Garcia as Ella Lopez, D. B. Woodside as Amenadiel, Kevin Alejandro as Detective Dan Espinoza, and introduces Graham McTavish (‘Preacher’, ‘Outlander’) as Father Kinley.

NOTE for those of you still needing to catch up: The rights to ‘Lucifer’ Seasons 1 to 3 are still retained by Amazon Prime UK at the moment. Season 3 is also being broadcast on Fox UK, who has just started airing it on Monday nights at 9pm.

Lucifer‘ Season 4 premieres Wednesday, 8th May 2019 on Netflix UK and around the world.
