Geektown Radio 322: MCM Comic-Con Special With Red Dead Redemption 2 Cast & Star Wars’ Ian McDiarmid & UK Air Dates!

We are back with another special Geektown Radio podcast this week, as MCM Comic-Con returned to Birmingham over last weekend! We also have some news, and, of course, a rundown of UK air dates for next week on TV.

MCM Comic-Con made its return to Birmingham over the weekend, and did an amazing job bringing geeky fans together from across the country. It was great to see some old friends return, and lots of people out enjoying the show together after spending so many months locked away during the pandemic.

To celebrate the return, we have a mix of interviews and panel clips from MCM Birmingham. First up we have interviews with the cast of the brilliant ‘Red Dead Redemption 2’. That includes Roger Clark, who plays the central character and the main protagonist of the game; Rob Wiethoff who plays John Marston, the main protagonist of the first ‘Red Dead Redemption’, and the secondary protagonist of ‘Red Dead Redemption 2’; And lastly, Peter Blomquist, the lovely guy who couldn’t be more different from his character Micah Bell, the main antagonist of RDR2.

Following that, we have a few clips from the stage panel with Ian McDiarmid, best known as the wonderfully evil Emperor Palpatine from Star Wars. Ian did a full 40 min stage panel, however, we are only allowed to air clips, so I picked out a few of the more interesting answers for the show. You will be able to find more clips later this week over on our YouTube channel.
