Apple TV+ has released the first teaser for ‘The Morning Show’ Season 4, the Emmy, SAG, and Critics Choice Award-winning drama that continues to shine as one of the streamer’s flagship series. Starring and executive produced by Jennifer Aniston (Friends) and Reese Witherspoon (Big Little Lies), the drama returns this September and promises another explosive chapter in the high-stakes world of broadcast journalism.
The new season picks up in spring 2024, nearly two years after the Season 3 finale. With the UBA-NBN merger now complete, the newsroom must navigate a chaotic new landscape… one filled with deepfakes, disinformation, and buried agendas. As the characters wrestle with the meaning of truth in a fractured America, the question looms: Who can you trust when everything can be manipulated?
Joining the cast for Season 4 are two Academy Award winners: Marion Cotillard (La Vie en Rose) and Jeremy Irons (Watchmen), alongside Aaron Pierre (The Underground Railroad), William Jackson Harper (The Good Place), and Boyd Holbrook (Narcos). Returning fan favourites include Billy Crudup (Almost Famous), Mark Duplass (The Mindy Project), Nestor Carbonell (Lost), Karen Pittman (And Just Like That), Greta Lee (Past Lives), Nicole Beharie (Sleepy Hollow), and Jon Hamm (Mad Men).
The series continues under showrunner and executive producer Charlotte Stoudt, with direction from executive producer Mimi Leder. Behind the scenes, it remains a powerhouse production from Media Res, Hello Sunshine, and Echo Films, with Witherspoon, Aniston, Leder, and Stoudt all returning in producing roles.
Since its debut, ‘The Morning Show’ has become one of the most awarded titles in the Apple TV+ catalogue. Season 3 alone earned 16 Emmy nominations, including a win for Crudup, who also claimed a Critics Choice Award for his role as the ever-scheming Cory Ellison. The series has previously received honours from the AFI and multiple nominations across acting, directing, and writing categories.
‘The Morning Show’ Season 4 premieres Wednesday, 17th September 2025 on Apple TV+, with new episodes dropping weekly through 19th November 2025.
