by Dave Elliott

Grab your cocktails and settle in, because ‘The Graham Norton Show’ isn’t going anywhere. The BBC has officially signed a new three-series deal with Graham Norton and So Television, keeping the nation’s favourite chat show on our screens right through to Season 36. The deal begins with Season 34, set to air in 2026 on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

Meanwhile, Season 33 is currently lighting up BBC One on Friday nights, serving up its usual mix of A-listers, audience mayhem, and delightfully awkward couch confessions. The multi-award-winning show remains a ratings powerhouse, averaging 2.9 million viewers per episode, while its clips continue to dominate YouTube, TikTok, and other platforms, proving that Graham’s sofa is as iconic as ever.

Graham Norton said: “Getting to host my own chat show is a huge pleasure as well as a privilege. I’m thrilled that the BBC are allowing me to continue for another three years. The whole team is looking forward to bringing the world’s brightest stars into the homes of the great British public!”

Kalpna Patel-Knight, Head of Entertainment at the BBC, added: “We are thrilled that The Graham Norton Show will remain a flagship part of the BBC’s entertainment offering for another three series. Graham sets the gold standard for celebrity interviews and continues to attract the best global talent to his sofa, it’s no wonder that the show remains so beloved by our audiences.”

Graham Stuart, Managing Director at So Television, said: “We began the Norton Talk Show journey in 1998 and have never felt like stopping. So happy the BBC feel the same way.”

From its early days on BBC Two to its current reign on BBC One, The Graham Norton Show has become a British institution. It’s the glittering end to the working week, filled with Hollywood stars, red chair disasters and plenty of laughter. Along the way, it has collected more awards than Graham has had cocktails, including BAFTAs, NTAs, RTS Awards and British Comedy Awards.

The Graham Norton Show’ Season 34 premieres in 2026 on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. You can catch the current run, Friday nights on BBC One and iPlayer.
