‘Fire Country’ Season 4 Sets July UK Premiere Date On Sky Witness & NOW

by Dave Elliott

Good news for fans of big rescues, family drama, and Bode Leone somehow finding fresh ways to make his life more complicated: Fire Country Season 4 has a confirmed UK premiere on Sky Witness and NOW this July.

The hit US drama stars Max Thieriot (SEAL Team) as Bode Leone, a young convict who originally sought to shorten his prison sentence by joining a prison-release firefighting programme in Northern California. That programme saw him and other inmates partnered with elite firefighters to tackle massive, unpredictable wildfires across the region.

Season 4 finds Bode in a very different place. Now walking as a free man, he continues his long road to redemption in his small hometown with Cal Fire. Of course, freedom does not magically make everything simple, especially in Edgewater, where personal baggage, family ties, and very large fires tend to arrive all at once.

The opening episode, titled ‘Goodbye For Now’, picks up in the aftermath of the Zabel Ridge fire. Station 42 is dealing with internal turmoil, but when a high-stakes rescue puts lives on the line, the team has to pull together in a way that tests their strength, loyalty, and the future of the firehouse.

There is, however, one slightly annoying wrinkle for UK viewers this season. Episode 13, ‘The Bravest’, is the second half of a crossover with spin-off series Sheriff Country. In the US, the story begins in ‘Sheriff Country’ Season 1, Episode 13, ‘The Finest’, before continuing in ‘Fire Country’. As things stand, ‘Sheriff Country’ has not been picked up by Sky, or anyone else, in the UK.

What Sky does with that is anyone’s guess. They could air ‘Fire Country’ Episode 13 and hope the “previously on” segment does enough heavy lifting. They could skip it, which would be deeply weird. Or we could still get a late announcement that ‘Sheriff Country’ has found a UK home, although you would have thought that would have happened by now if it was part of the plan.

It is the sort of crossover silliness UK viewers have had to deal with before, most famously when the ‘Chicago’ shows were split across different broadcasters and crossover episodes didn’t line up properly. Ironically, that eventually got fixed when Sky brought them all together. You would hope we were past this sort of thing, but apparently not.

Inspired by Thieriot’s own experiences growing up in Northern California fire country, ‘Fire Country’ has become one of CBS’s key drama franchises, spawning the aforementioned ‘Sheriff Country’ and expanding the world of Edgewater beyond the firehouse.

Fire Country’ Season 4 premieres Wednesday, 1st July 2026 at 9pm on Sky Witness and NOW. If I want to keep track of this or any other shows, I can add them via our Never Miss system, and I’ll be notified when it gets a UK premiere date. Visit Never Miss.
