Sky has confirmed that ‘Saturday Night Live UK‘ will return for Series 2 this September, bringing six new live episodes to Sky and NOW, with additional shows already planned for early 2027.
The broadcaster has also unveiled a brand-new trailer for the return of ‘Saturday Night Live UK’, which launched its first British series earlier this year. The format once again brings the long-running US institution across the Atlantic for a distinctly British take on live Saturday night comedy.
Each week will see a different celebrity host and musical guest step into the studio, alongside topical sketches, live music performances and the UK version of the iconic Weekend Update segment. And, because it is all going out live, there is always the possibility that something will go spectacularly off-script.
All 11 members of the inaugural cast are returning for Series 2: Hammed Animashaun, Ayoade Bamgboye, Larry Dean, Celeste Dring, George Fouracres, Ania Magliano, Annabel Marlow, Al Nash, Jack Shep, Emma Sidi and Paddy Young.
Those wanting to experience the potential live-TV disaster from inside the studio will also get their chance, as Sky is opening the audience ticket ballot from 10am on Friday, 14th August.
The initial run consists of six episodes airing across September and October, before ‘Saturday Night Live UK’ returns with additional shows in early 2027. Hosts and musical guests for the new series have yet to be announced.
‘Saturday Night Live UK‘ Series 2 premieres Saturday, 12th September 2026 on Sky and NOW.
