‘Neagley’ Trailer: Maria Sten Takes The Lead In Prime Video’s ‘Reacher’ Spin-Off

by Dave Elliott

Prime Video has released the official trailer for Neagley, the new action spin-off from Reacher, with Maria Sten (Swamp Thing, Channel Zero) stepping into the lead role as Frances Neagley. All eight episodes land together this September, immediately following the ‘Reacher’ Season 4 finale.

Fans of ‘Reacher’ will, of course, already know Neagley as one of Jack Reacher’s most trusted allies and a former member of the Army’s 110th Special Investigations Unit. The new series shifts the focus to Chicago, where Neagley is now working as a private investigator.

When she learns that a beloved friend from her past has been killed in what appears to be a suspicious accident, Neagley becomes determined to find out exactly what happened. Drawing on everything she learned during her time with the 110th, she sets off on a hunt for justice which puts her directly in the path of something considerably more dangerous.

And while this is very much Neagley’s show, Reacher isn’t disappearing completely. Alan Ritchson (Titans, Blue Mountain State) will guest star as Jack Reacher, giving Prime Video’s rapidly expanding Lee Child universe a bit of connective tissue between the two series.

Joining Maria Sten in the ensemble are Greyston Holt (Bitten, The Night Agent) as Detective Hudson Riley, Adeline Rudolph (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Resident Evil) as Renee Birdwhistle, Jasper Jones (King Ivory) as Keno, Matthew Del Negro (The Sopranos, City on a Hill) as Pierce Woodrow, and Damon Herriman (Justified, Mr Inbetween) as Lawrence Cole.

‘Neagley’ is based on the character created by Lee Child and comes from Paramount Television Studios and Amazon MGM Studios. The series is created by Nick Santora and Nicholas Wootton, who also serve as executive producers and co-showrunners. Santora is, of course, already very familiar with this particular corner of the action world as showrunner of ‘Reacher’.

Lee Child, Don Granger, Sam Hill, Adam Higgs and Lisa Kussner also executive produce, with Hill directing the opening two episodes.

With ‘Reacher’ now well established as one of Prime Video’s major action franchises, ‘Neagley’ gives one of its most popular supporting characters the chance to start breaking bones and solving problems on her own. Based on the trailer, she appears to have picked up both skills rather well.

Neagley Season 1 premieres Wednesday, 16th September 2026 on Prime Video.
