‘MobLand’ Season 2 Trailer Brings Tom Hardy Back For Bloody New Harrigan Family War On Paramount+

by Dave Elliott

Paramount+ has unleashed the official trailer for Season 2 of MobLand, with Tom Hardy (Venom), Pierce Brosnan (The Thomas Crown Affair) and Helen Mirren (1923) returning this September for another round of criminal family warfare, brutal power plays and, judging by the trailer, very little interest in resolving disagreements peacefully.

The second season finds the Harrigans struggling to present a united front as rising rivals threaten their increasingly fractured criminal empire. Meanwhile, street-smart fixer Harry Da Souza finds himself walking an increasingly dangerous tightrope as tensions within the family continue to intensify.

As violence begins spilling into every corner of their lives, loyalties start to snap, safety becomes increasingly difficult to find, and the battle for power leaves very little room for mercy. Basically, if you thought the Harrigans might have used the break between seasons to calm down and reconsider their life choices, apparently not.

Hardy returns as Harry, alongside Brosnan and Mirren as Conrad and Maeve Harrigan, the wonderfully unscrupulous heads of the family.

The wider returning cast includes Paddy Considine (House of the Dragon), Joanne Froggatt (Downton Abbey), Lara Pulver (Sherlock), Anson Boon (Pistol), Mandeep Dhillon (After Life), Jasmine Jobson (Top Boy), Emmett J. Scanlan (Kin), Johnny Flynn (Ripley), Ophelia Lovibond (Minx), Janet McTeer (Ozark) and Toby Jones (Mr Bates vs The Post Office).

Season 2 of ‘MobLand’ consists of ten episodes, which will roll out weekly on Fridays on Paramount+. The first season is already available to binge globally on the streaming service, while Paramount is also making it available for free through various services ahead of the new season.

The crime drama is commissioned by Paramount+ and produced in association with Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios. David C. Glasser, Guy Ritchie, Jez Butterworth, Tom Hardy, Ivan Atkinson, Dean Baker, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari and Keith Cox serve as executive producers.

‘MobLand’ proved to be one of Paramount+’s bigger original crime dramas when it launched, and the combination of Hardy’s increasingly put-upon fixer with the spectacularly dysfunctional Harrigan clan gives the series plenty of places to go in Season 2. From the look of the new trailer, those places mostly involve blood, guns and people making extremely poor decisions.

MobLand‘ Season 2 premieres Friday, 18th September 2026 on Paramount+.
