…but the cool ones bake you a cake! Check this out!

World of Warcraft Cake

“My a good friend makes kick-ass cakes as a hobby. Last year she started dating my old roomate who plays World of Warcraft a fair amount around his job; for Christmas she acquired a “WoW stole my boyfriend” t-shirt.

She is good-natured about his love of Warcraft, however, as shown by the birthday cake she made him three weeks ago”

Star Trek XI

After months and months (and months and months…) of speculation, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that JJ Abrams is taking the helm and directing the 11th Star Trek big screen outing (he’d been attached as producing and possibly writing for a while).

The plot supposedly revolves around Spock and Kirk’s first meeting at Star Fleet Academy, and their first space mission. As for casting, there were rumours that Abrams was after Matt Damon for Kirk and has even gone as far as to get Shatner’s blessing for the casting… But who for Spock?… Well, there is the obvious choice… ;)

Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Kirk, Spock

Here on GeekTown, there is an ongoing ‘discussion’ about the PS3, the 360 and the Wii. You see, one member of the team is very much a PS3 guy (ohh it’s so powerful… it’s a real ‘next-gen’ blah blah blah… zzzzzz *snore*) ;) Where as i am quite happy using a PC for high end gaming and have the Wii as a different gaming experience… Personally, i think this clip demonstrates the argument rather well. ;) :D
