Last night we had the opportunity to come and see the stars arrive at the Premiere of ‘Peaky Blinders‘ Season 4 in Birmingham. Actors such as Cillian Murphy, Helen McCrory, Aidan Gillen, and Paul Anderson, plus a host of celebrity guests braved the freezing cold weather to launch the latest series of the acclaimed drama, which returns to BBC2 on Wednesday, 15th November 2017 at 9pm.
The new season kicks off with Tommy (Murphy) receiving a mysterious letter on Christmas Eve, that makes him realise that the Peaky Blinders are in danger of annihilation. As the enemy closes in, Tommy flees his country house and returns to the streets of Small Heath, Birmingham, where a desperate fight for survival begins.
This season sees Irish Film and Television Academy award-winner Aidan Gillen (‘Game Of Thrones’, ‘King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword’, ‘Love/Hate’) join the cast, along with Academy Award winner Adrien Brody (‘The Pianist’). Tom Hardy (‘Taboo’, ‘The Revenant’) also returns as Jewish gang leader Alfie Solomons as well as Charlotte Riley (‘King Charles III’, ‘Close To The Enemy’) who plays champion horse trainer and Shelby’s former lover, May Carleton. Series regulars, Natasha O’Keefe (‘Sherlock: The Abominable Bride’) and Packy Lee (‘The Frankenstein Chronicles’) will also be back.
