by Dave Elliott

The 3rd instalment of Robert Galbraith (aka J.K. Rowling)’s ‘Strike’ series will land on BBC One this month it has been announced.

Strike: Career of Evil begins with Robin (Holliday Grainger) arriving at the office to accept a package from a courier in a rush. When she opens it she is horrified to discover a severed leg inside.

Strike (Tom Burke) begins to pull together a list of potential suspects from his past, all of whom have vendettas against him. One of the names, Jeff Whittaker, relates directly to Strike’s dead mother Leda. He brings in Shanker (Ben Crompton) to help him, while Robin begins to research all three suspects.

Things are also strained for Robin at home as Matthew (Kerr Logan) starts to have issues with Strike and his fiancé’s close working relationship. Something which isn’t helped when Robin and Strike have to stay away overnight for the investigation.

Strike: Career of Evil‘ premieres on BBC One from Sunday, 25th February 2018 at 9pm.
