Channel 4 Sets November Premiere Date For ‘The End of the F***king World’ Season 2

November will be The End of the F***king World again, as Channel 4 announces Season 2 of the comic book adaptation, along with revealing a couple of new photos.

The first series saw teen outsiders James (Alex Lawther – ‘Black Mirror’, ‘The Imitation Game’) and Alyssa (Jessica Barden – ‘The Lobster’, ‘Ellen’, ‘Penny Dreadful’) embark on a road trip which descended into darkly comic chaos. After finding themselves embroiled in a series of violent events they are soon trailed by two uniquely mismatched police detectives, played by BAFTA-winning Wunmi Mosaku (‘Damilola Our Loved Boy’, ‘Kiri’) and Gemma Whelan (‘Game of Thrones’, ‘The Moorside’). After a shocking series finale, only one thing is certain… expect the unexpected.

The new photos released today reveals Alyssa dressed as a bride outside a remote woodland café, with the second photo introducing new cast member Tim Key (‘This Time with Alan Partridge’, ‘Brassic’) as motel owner Gus. Key joins the other previously announced new cast member, Naomi Ackie (soon to be seen in ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’, and the ‘Game of Thrones’ prequel), as Bonnie, an outsider with a troubled past and a mysterious connection to Alyssa.

The series is produced by Clerkenwell Films and Dominic Buchanan Productions. Executive Producers are Murray Ferguson, Ed Macdonald, Andy Baker, Dominic Buchanan, Jonathan Entwistle and Charlie Covell. The Producer is Jenny Frayn. The series is commissioned by Lee Mason, Commissioning Editor for Channel 4 Drama. It is a co-production from Netflix and Channel 4.

The End of the F*****g World‘, Series 2 airs Monday 4th to Thursday 7th November on Channel 4 in the UK, with two new episodes double-billed every night across the week from 10pm. The entire eight-part series will be available to stream in the UK on All 4 after Monday night’s double bill.
