No, and they’re very unlikely to come to Disney+. The only reason they aired The Walking Dead is because they had the license leftover from when they ran it on FOX UK before they closed the channel down.

Sounds more and more like AMC are going to try and launch their own streaming platform here, which considering the fact that most streamers are struggling to turn a profit and with the cost of living sounds like a pretty poor business decision right now. I get every studio is chasing the success that Netflix has/had. They all forget that took Netflix time. I’ll be interested to see what happens though

AMC does have a UK linear channel, but it’s only on BT TV at the moment. However, that is getting removed from BT at the end of Sept… It also never premiered any of TWD series other than Fear.

So either:
They are planning on launching AMC+ in the UK.
Or they’re moving the AMC channel to Sky.
Or they’re giving up entirely on servicing the UK directly, and hoping someone else buys the shows to air.

My guess would be their own streaming service, AMC+, as they have that already set up in the USA and some other countries. That’s probably the easiest and most cost-effective thing for them to do as they already have the technology set up for it. Rolling it out in the UK just expands the audience. If they add it to Sky, they have to pay Sky. If they wait to sell on the shows, that’s a crapshoot as to whether someone buys them.

Also AMC Networks already operate services in the U.K like Acorn TV and Shudder these would be included in AMC+ price If it launches.

Mayfair Witches suddenly appeared in the Amazon Prime UK app recently, currently shown as “This Video Is Currently Unavailable”

I found out recently Tales Of The Walking Dead was licensed to Disney+ in Italy, I think don’t think we can entirely out The Walking Dead spin offs being licensed to Disney+ UK perhaps they couldn’t because of contract with BT in the UK

I will be amazed if The Walking Dead: Dead City and The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon don’t appear somewhere by end of the year
