Disney+ has revealed the premiere date for the highly anticipated return of Daredevil to our screens, as Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio face off in ‘Daredevil: Born Again‘ next year.
‘Daredevil: Born Again‘ reunites Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock/Daredevil), Vincent D’Onofrio (Kingpin), Deborah Anm Woll (Karen), Elden Henson (Foggy), and Jon Bernthal (The Punisher) in a brand new series. Longtime rivals Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk attempt to move past their darker personas to serve New York, but their pasts resurface, reintroducing the world of Daredevil.
The nine-part drama also stars Margarita Levieva, Zabryna Guevara, Nikki James, Genneya Walton, Arty Froushan, Clark Johnson, Michael Gandolfini, and Ayelet Zurer.
The premiere announcement came during the Marvel Fanfare panel at New York Comic Con this weekend, which saw D’Onofrio and Cox crash the official Marvel Cosplay Competition section at the end of the panel, much to the joy and surprise of fans!
Disney has yet to officially release a trailer for the show (although there are a number of leaks online). If you’re worried about this being “toned down” from the Netflix series, don’t be. It seems as violent, dark and gritty as the original.
Dario Scardapane (Jack Ryan, The Punisher) serves as the showrunner, with episodes directed by Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead, Michael Cuesta, Jeffrey Nachmanoff and David Boyd. Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Chris Gary, Christopher Ord & Matthew Corman serve as executive producers, along with Benson & Moorhead, Amanat and Scardapane.
‘Daredevil: Born Again‘ premieres Wednesday, 5th March 2025 on Disney+ UK and worldwide.
