In what it’s calling a world first, Sky has announced it is bundling Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max and Hayu into a single Sky TV subscription, bringing four of the biggest streaming services together under one roof.
Yes. The streaming wars just turned into the streaming alliance.
From March, eligible customers will see Disney+ and HBO Max folded into their Sky experience, with Hayu following in July. New customers can get Sky Ultimate TV, which includes Sky Originals and Exclusives, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max and Hayu, from £24 per month.
That is a serious play at becoming the central hub for UK streaming.
What’s Actually Included?
Sky Ultimate TV will now package together:
- Netflix
- Disney+ Standard with Ads
- HBO Max Basic with Ads
- Hayu
- Sky Originals and Sky Exclusives
- Over 130 channels including Sky Comedy, Sky Documentaries, Sky Crime and more
Disney+ Standard with Ads joins from March, date still to be confirmed. HBO Max Basic with Ads launches in the UK and Ireland on Thursday, 26th March 2026 and will be included for eligible customers. Hayu becomes fully integrated from July, with selected reality shows available earlier in March.
Existing customers get slightly different combinations depending on whether they use Sky Stream, Sky Glass, Sky Q or Sky+, but the key headline is simple: millions of Sky and NOW customers will gain access to HBO Max at no extra cost, while Disney+ and Hayu are being folded into eligible Sky TV packs.
Integration Is The Real Story
This is not just app stacking. It is proper integration via Sky OS, the smart platform that powers Sky Stream and Sky Glass.
Shows from across Sky and partner apps will sit side by side in personalised recommendations. Continue Watching now works across Disney+ and Hayu as well as Sky, Netflix and HBO Max. Voice search pulls content from across services. You can jump from ‘Saturday Night Live UK’ to ‘Stranger Things’, or from ‘The Pitt’ to ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’, without bouncing between disconnected ecosystems.
That reduction in friction is a bigger deal than it sounds. The average household is juggling multiple subscriptions. Fewer apps to manage, fewer passwords to remember, and one interface to rule them all is clearly the pitch.
HBO Max Arrives, Properly
Sky has expanded its deal with Warner Bros. Discovery, meaning HBO Max becomes part of the UK offering from Thursday, 26th March 2026.
That brings the HBO library, including ‘Succession’, ‘The Wire’, and ‘Game of Thrones’, alongside newer series such as ‘The Pitt’ and current titles like ‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’, which is airing on Sky Atlantic. Warner Bros. films will also feature within HBO Max, while Sky Cinema continues to premiere major studio releases.
Sky Atlantic will still air upcoming seasons of HBO shows, including ‘Euphoria’, ‘House of the Dragon’ and ‘The White Lotus’, sitting alongside HBO Max rather than being replaced by it.
Disney+ Expands Its Footprint
Under a new multi-year agreement between Sky and Disney in the UK and Ireland, eligible customers will receive Disney+ Standard with Ads included, worth £5.99 per month at current RRP.
That means access to titles such as ‘The Bear’, ‘Rivals’, and upcoming Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar and National Geographic content, all within the Sky ecosystem. Sky Cinema customers will also gain access to a new Disney+ Cinema channel.
Existing Disney+ customers can move their subscription to Sky and retain their profiles and watch history, potentially saving up to £5.99 per month depending on how they currently subscribe.
Hayu Joins The Party
From July, Hayu becomes part of the Sky subscription for eligible customers, delivering reality franchises such as ‘Below Deck’, ‘Below Deck Mediterranean’, ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ and ‘The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’.
For reality fans, this means same-day US episodes without needing a separate standalone subscription.
NOW Customers Benefit Too
NOW is not being left out. HBO Max Basic with Ads will be included within a new NOW Entertainment & HBO Max membership from £6.99 per month. A separate NOW Entertainment membership without HBO Max will also be available from £4.99 per month.
It effectively turns NOW into a cheaper entry point for HBO Max access, while Sky Ultimate TV becomes the fully loaded bundle.
The Bigger Picture
For years, streaming splintered into isolated apps competing for attention and monthly payments. What Sky is doing here feels like the next phase: rebundling.
This is cable thinking, evolved. Instead of dozens of channels in a guide, it is dozens of platforms in one interface.
Whether this represents genuine value will depend on how many services you were already paying for. But strategically, Sky has just positioned itself as the UK’s aggregation powerhouse.
The streaming wars may not be over. They may simply have entered their coalition era.

Having them all as the most basic, with-ads services is crazy work.
