America’s favourite serial killer is heading back to the Big Apple, as Paramount+ unveils the first images from ‘Dexter: Resurrection’ Season 2 ahead of its return later this year.
Michael C. Hall (Dexter, Six Feet Under) is back as Dexter Morgan, who finds himself caught between two killers. One is already notorious, while the other is terrorising New York in ways nobody could have anticipated.
As if dealing with multiple murderers was not enough, Dexter is also facing what could be his greatest enemy yet: a mid-life crisis.
Meanwhile, Harrison, played by Jack Alcott (The Good Lord Bird), continues his own pursuit of justice as father and son enter what promises to be their darkest chapter so far.
Returning alongside Hall and Alcott are Uma Thurman (Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction), Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine (The Chi, Treme), Kadia Saraf (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit), Dominic Fumusa (Nurse Jackie, Homeland), Desmond Harrington (Dexter, Gossip Girl) and James Remar (Dexter, Black Lightning).
The new season also welcomes Dan Stevens (Downton Abbey, Legion), Bokeem Woodbine (Fargo, Halo), Nona Parker Johnson and Brian Cox (Succession, Braveheart) as series regulars.
Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones, Breaking Bad) returns in a guest-starring role, while Gabriel Luna (The Last of Us, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) also joins the cast as a guest star.
‘Dexter: Resurrection’ comes from showrunner and executive producer Clyde Phillips, with Hall also serving as an executive producer alongside Scott Reynolds, Marcos Siega, Tony Hernandez, Lilly Burns, John Goldwyn, Sara Colleton, Veronica West, Kirsa Rein, Tanner Bean and Katrina Mathewson.
The series is produced by Paramount Television Studios and Counterpart Studios.

Franchise favourites Erik King (Dexter, Oz) and Julie Benz (Dexter, Angel) will join cast members including Ritter and Eric Stonestreet (Modern Family, The Loft) to revisit some of the most memorable scenes from across the franchise.
