Netflix has released the teaser trailer for ‘I Will Find You‘, the latest Harlan Coben thriller heading to the streamer this June, with Sam Worthington (Avatar), Britt Lower (Severance) and Milo Ventimiglia (This Is Us) leading the cast.
The eight-episode series adapts Coben’s 2023 novel of the same name, following David Burroughs, a man serving a life sentence for the murder of his own son. There is just one rather major problem with that: David didn’t do it. When he receives evidence suggesting his son may actually still be alive, he breaks out of prison and begins a desperate search for the truth, plunging him into a world of secrets, lies, and long-buried family betrayals.
Unlike many of the recent Coben adaptations on Netflix, this one is not from Danny Brocklehurst (Fool Me Once) and Quay Street Productions, who have become closely associated with the UK-set versions of Coben’s work, including Fool Me Once, Stay Close and Run Away. I Will Find You is instead co-created by Coben and Robert Hull (Quantum Leap), and is notable for being the first series in Coben’s Netflix partnership to be set in the United States.
That also brings it closer to the original novels than some viewers might realise. Coben’s books are generally set in the US, but because the Brocklehurst/Netflix adaptations have been so popular, particularly here in the UK, it has become very easy to mentally file them away as British thrillers. This one, however, brings the story back across the Atlantic.
“The cast we’ve assembled is nothing short of phenomenal,” said Hull. “Any one of these incredible artists would be a dream on their own. The fact we’ve somehow drawn them all in is a testament to the power of Harlan’s storytelling and the incredible support of everyone at Netflix. I cannot wait to watch them bring these roles to life.”
Worthington stars as David Burroughs, a father imprisoned for a crime he did not commit, while Lower plays Rachel Mills, David’s ex-sister-in-law and a former decorated reporter whose life has fallen apart after being fired. When she discovers evidence pointing to a shocking secret, Rachel sees it as both a chance to uncover the truth and a possible route back into journalism.
Ventimiglia plays Hayden, Rachel’s ex-boyfriend and close confidant, who comes from a prominent Boston family and works for their philanthropic foundations. The cast also includes Logan Browning (Dear White People) as FBI Fugitive Task Force agent Sarah Greer, Erin Richards (Gotham) as David’s ex-wife Cheryl Dreason, Jonathan Tucker (Westworld) as police Sgt. Adam Mackenzie, Chi McBride (Pushing Daisies) as FBI legend Max Williams, Madeleine Stowe (12 Monkeys) as Gertrude Payne, and Clancy Brown (The Penguin) as semi-retired mobster Nicky Fisher.
“Netflix has been an amazing creative partner all over the globe — and now we get to come home and do it here in the United States,” said Coben. “We have a dream team of talent.”
Coben serves as executive producer through his company Final Twist Productions, alongside Hull, Bryan Wynbrandt (Quantum Leap), Steven Lilien (Quantum Leap) and John Weber.
Coben’s previous Netflix adaptations include Missing You, Fool Me Once, Stay Close, The Stranger, Safe, The Innocent, Gone for Good, Hold Tight and Run Away, with The Woods also currently in production.
‘I Will Find You‘ premieres Thursday, 18th June 2026 on Netflix.
