Geektown Awards – Best Limited Series
The next category you voted in was ‘Best Limited Series’. We define a ‘limited series’ as a show which either is a short run, one-off production or has a storyline which completely changes from season to season, such as an anthology series. ‘Big Little Lies’ does also appear in this category as, at the time we launched, the show was a one-off series. They have since announced a second season, which technically should disqualify it, but as people had already voted, we decided to leave it in.

The latest season of ‘Fargo’ saw Ewan McGregor take on a tour de force performance playing 2 very different brothers. Emmit Stussy is the self-proclaimed Parking Lot King of Minnesota. A handsome, self-made real estate mogul and family man, he sees himself as an American success story. His slightly younger brother, Ray, on the other hand, is more of a cautionary tale. Balding and pot-bellied, Ray is the kind of guy who peaked in high school. Now a parole officer, Ray has a huge chip on his shoulder about the hand he’s been dealt, and he blames his brother for his misfortunes.
