Although the game is set partially in Egypt, it is primarily inspired by Greek mythology, mainly focusing on the legend of titans and how they returned with their army. Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris
Lara Croft is the popular protagonist of the Tomb Raider series of games. Her job is to search for rare and powerful artifacts around the world, just like her father did. There are many Tomb Raider games, and even a couple of movies were filmed, some of which feature Angelina Jolie portraying Lara.
One of her adventures took her to Egypt where she met with Isis and Horus to fight Set, the evil god. Unlike most of Tomb Raider games that are third-person adventure shooters, this one uses an isometric camera just like Titan Quest.
