Assassin’s Creed: Origins

Assassin’s Creed is a game series that follows the lives of several assassins in different periods of history. Assassin’s Creed: Origins is one of the newer titles in the series and is focused on Egypt.

Players assume the role of Layla Hassan, a modern-day girl who enters a machine called Animus in order to explore the past of one of her ancestors from ancient Egypt through her DNK. The game shifts to Egypt early on and returns to present only from time to time when Laya exits the Animus.

Age of Mythology

Age of Mythology is perhaps one of the most important strategy games that focuses on ancient Egypt. In fact, players can choose from three cultures — Greek, Nordic, and Egyptian. All of them have their heroes and monsters who are based on myths and legends from these ancient empires.

Lucky Pharaoh

Ancient Egypt seems to be very popular among those who love to play casino games, which has resulted in numerous titles that pay tribute to this old civilisation. Casinos probably like Egypt due to its rich culture, history, and A LOT of golden decorations everywhere.

Lucky Pharaoh is a game whose creators were inspired by Egypt and its glory, making a game as a tribute to it. There’s a great review of Lucky Pharaoh game where you can find out more about it and slots in general.

Titan Quest

Titan Quest is a role-playing game that takes place not only in ancient Egypt but also in Greece and parts of Asia. It’s an isometric game that combines magic with hack ‘n slash elements.

Although the game is set partially in Egypt, it is primarily inspired by Greek mythology, mainly focusing on the legend of titans and how they returned with their army. Nevertheless, there are a lot of elements from ancient Egypt that made it to the game, making it suitable for every lover of the Egyptian culture.

Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris

Lara Croft is the popular protagonist of the Tomb Raider series of games. Her job is to search for rare and powerful artifacts around the world, just like her father did. There are many Tomb Raider games, and even a couple of movies were filmed, some of which feature Angelina Jolie portraying Lara.

One of her adventures took her to Egypt where she met with Isis and Horus to fight Set, the evil god. Unlike most of Tomb Raider games that are third-person adventure shooters, this one uses an isometric camera just like Titan Quest.
