We return once again with a new episode of the Geektown Radio podcast! This week, I’m joined by Darryl from Hollywood North News to discuss all the latest UK TV news, films, and UK TV air dates, we discuss the ongoing Hollywood Strike action by SAG-AFTRA and the WGA.
This week’s reviews are something of a tour across the streaming services! Darryl begins with the latest season of ‘Star Trek: Strange New Worlds‘ on Paramount+, and the Netflix movie ‘They Cloned Tyrone’. We then give our thoughts on ‘Secret Invasion‘, which concluded this week on Disney+, along with ‘Almost Paradise‘ Season 2 on Freevee, and then hop back to Netflix for ‘The Night Agent‘. Meanwhile, I catch up with new Apple TV+ series ‘Hijack‘, ‘Good Omens‘ Season 2 on Prime Video, and ‘The Witcher‘ Season 3 on Netflix.
In the news section, we run through all the renewals, cancellations and pick-ups, and also catch up on the ongoing troubles in Hollywood, with the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strike. We then discuss the upcoming BBC adaptation of ‘The Famous Five‘, and the new writers for Disney+ series ‘Lando’. Listen below!
